About our company

Welcome to the website of Art Plast® Sp. z o.o., a Polish manufacturer of modified plastics (polymer and polymer-fiber composites), permanently antistatic and flame-retardant technical fabrics, and plastic stadium seats.

COMPANY OPERATIONS

Art Plast® Sp. z o.o. was established in January 2006. Its production and development activities are carried out at the Production Plant in Poniatowa, in the Lublin region. Since its inception, we have specialized in the production of composite granules of modified plastics (polymer composites). Since 2009, the company has been operating under the ISO 9001 quality management system.

OUR PRODUCTS

The company’s first products were modified recycled plastics. Later, we expanded our offer to include fiber-reinforced plastics based on PP, PA6, PA6.6. Soon, we developed a full range of modified plastics: PP, PA6, PA6.6, PET.

MODIFIED PLASTICS

We currently offer the following types of polymer and polymer-fiber composites:

 

We perform the following modifications of plastics:

  • glass fiber reinforcement
  • wood fiber reinforcement
  • talc filling plant-based material filling
  • calcium carbonate (CaCO3) filling
  • flame retardancy in various classes (e.g. V-0, V-2)
  • impact strength improvement
  • thermal protection
  • UV protection
  • and other modifications
 

Upon client request, we also regranulate and modify other plastics such as: polystyrene (PS), high impact polystyrene (HIPS), low-density polyethylene (LDPE),
high-density polyethylene (HDPE), polycarbonate (PC), acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), PC/ABS blends, and other plastics.

OTHER PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

In addition, we offer:

  • permanently antistatic and flame-retardant technical fabrics and products made from them (e.g. big-bag type sacks and container bags)
  • plastic stadium seats
  • injection molding services for components weighing from 10 to 3000 g

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

Our own well-equipped laboratory enables continuous quality control and research and development activities. This allows us to develop new modified plastics – polymer and polymer-fiber composites tailored to our clients’ individual needs – “custom-made”. These activities benefit from the experience of our staff in conducting scientific and R&D work (former employees of universities and research institutions in Łódź).

ArtPYLEN® polypropylene is a versatile material that can be modified to obtain the desired properties. Although often underestimated as a technical material, in many cases it can effectively replace more expensive and heavier materials, offering light weight, resistance to chemicals and ease of processing.

Thanks to this, it is widely used in various industries, such as automotive and packaging.

ArtAMID is a plastic characterized by high mechanical strength and abrasion resistance, which makes it an ideal material for use in demanding industrial conditions. It is also resistant to many chemicals, thanks to which it is widely used in industries where contact with various chemicals is common.

This material also demonstrates good thermal stability, which allows it to be used in environments with variable temperatures. Additionally, ArtAMID is characterized by flexibility and elasticity, which makes it easy to form and adapt to various shapes, and its use includes, among others, the production of machine parts, structural elements and protective clothing.

A synthetic material that was designed as an alternative to natural wood, combining the aesthetics of wood with the properties of synthetic materials. It is characterized by high resistance to weather conditions, such as moisture, rain, temperature changes or UV radiation, which makes it an ideal material for outdoor applications. ArtWood is resistant to mold, fungi, and mechanical damage, which makes it more durable than natural wood.

In addition, it does not require the same maintenance as traditional wood - it does not need to be painted or impregnated, which significantly reduces maintenance costs. It is also ecological, because in many cases it is made from recycled materials. ArtWood is widely used in construction, especially in the production of garden furniture, facades, terrace floors, fences or decorative panels.

A material that is created in the process of processing PET waste (polyethylene terephthalate), used mainly for the production of plastic bottles. ArtPet is an ecological alternative to other plastics because it uses recycled raw materials, which helps reduce the amount of waste and reduces the need for new raw materials.

It is characterized by high resistance to moisture, corrosion and the effects of many chemicals, which makes it an ideal material for the production of packaging such as bottles, boxes or bags. In addition, it is light, flexible and durable, which makes it an excellent choice in the production of various products, from clothing to accessories and decorative elements. ArtPet supports the closed-loop economy and can be used in a wide range of applications, both in the food industry, textile and advertising. Thanks to its use, it is possible to reduce the negative impact of plastic on the environment, while maintaining the functionality and durability of the material.

Specialized seating designed for comfort and functionality in sports stadiums and other venues where mass events take place. Stadium chairs must combine comfort with durability because they are exposed to intensive use and changing weather conditions. Usually made of durable materials such as plastic, steel or aluminum, they must be resistant to rain, sun, and intensive use in crowded conditions. They often have an ergonomic shape, providing comfort during long hours of sitting, while at the same time they must be easy to clean and resistant to dirt.

Why is it worth trusting us?

We offer plastic modifications that enhance their mechanical, thermal, and fire-resistant properties. Reinforcement with glass and wood fibers increases strength, stiffness, and wear resistance of the materials. Filling with talc and plant-based materials improves rigidity, reduces production costs, and is more environmentally friendly.

Calcium carbonate filling increases hardness, density, and scratch resistance. Flame retardancy in various classes (e.g., V-0, V-2) improves fire resistance, providing greater safety. Enhancing impact resistance and thermal protection increases resistance to shocks and temperature fluctuations, extending the lifespan of materials.
